He’s a big when it comes to measurements sure. That’s like calling Magic a big. When people think bigs they think of fulltime 5s. Duncan Hakeem Wilt Shaq Kareem Jokic Ewing etc.

Hes in his own category really. Doesn’t matter what we call him. Don’t think we ever see someone else like him.

To me, positions are guards (1's, 2's), wings (2's, 3's, 4's), bigs (4's, 5's)

There's also nuance & context needed that depends on a specific player's play style.

Giannis is a great big. but I wouldn't consider him the greatest big of this generation especially if he still has some flaws in his game. He's flashy but that doesn't make him the greatest already. it's still Jokic for me for the time being.
