Yeah dog. He’s owed like $43 million this year and $47 million next year. The deal right now is that him and the Rockets agreed to hold him out of games but he can practice, use team facilities, trainers, etc until they find a trade partner. So yes, he’s getting paid $43MM this year to practice and sit on the bench during games in street clothes. Real talk, he probably only traveled with the team because the game was in LA. He wouldn’t be there if it was Utah

Edit: If he wants to play basketball again, especially meaningful basketball, then him and Houston will reach a buyout agreement but people don’t see him leaving money on the table which I totally understand.

That is about as close to a dream as you can get. Paid to stay in shape and travel and wear fly **** and free court side seats to every game of the season. Wow.
