The OFFICIAL Powerball and Megamillions thread:

I’m not hiring security f that. I got homies and family that can be my security. Rather pay them a salary than a stranger. I’d take 100 million to live off and put the rest in some kind of trust that I can’t touch until I’m 45.

You wouldn’t be too high profile once some of the hype dies down but the cost would likely be negligible. Less than 1mm per year depending on how OD you go likely more

Homie hit for $31mm took home 11mm then the sharks came.

That’s a lot of money bro 1 mil a year. You gonna be walking around with Floyd mayweather type security?

Good look on the link!

Even when your high profile dies down they’re still targeting you.

They just got a date.

It’s best to get to them right away though. Most people will be clueless.

All I want is a two story house with a pool in North Carolina and a new Nissan Maxima or Honda Accord. Some I'm giving to my family, some to a charitable organization, a recreational center with a pool for my hometown, and I would leave some money for my children (If I ever find a female that is kind, accepting, and trustworthy but since i'm living female repellant I don't see this being the case).

I'd be paranoid having that kind of money. Always having to be watching your back. Trust becomes an issue. Money just turns people into Satan in disguise. Especially family and friends.

I’d be too rich to worry. Stay one step ahead and have your money dispersed around the globe with different checks and balances. With that much bread you HAVE to invest in something also

1.6 B is unbelievable. It’s gotta be the most anyone has ever won from a single gamble
Didn't this hit 1.6b last time around? It got split up 1-3 ways I thought. I think tonights will fall into the same format.

I think they said, since their odds have changed, they have had 7 of the highest jackpots ever.. Not a coincidence folks. I remember when the old powerball would inch towards $200 million and we'd be in a frenzied state. Times have changed and we need that wow factor. The lottery and mega millions officials have provided that. The ultimate troll

Buy one less pair of shoes. Eat out one less time this week. But don't change your life over wagering here. 99% of us are losers in the scheme of things.

Although some financial advisors state that once it hits above $500 million, the gamble is worth it. Below $500 million, a $2-$3 bet isn't worth it. So who knows. I guess they figure, youd be stupid not to atleast try for $3-12 bucks when its above $500 mil, and I think thats what most do. Don't be dropping hundreds though.

I just wanna know what kind of luck or how lucky a person needs to be to win a jackpot regardless of the amount or the odds.

The immediate shock of winning it would probably numb me. Like I would just sit there and debate what type of person I truly am and what type of person I want to continue to be or become. Like I’d have to sit on the ticket for at least a week

Highest all time was 1.5 billion for the Powerball a few years ago...until today with the MegaMillion jackpot. And it might get to 2 billion before Tuesday's drawing from what I'm reading ...
Nice. It all blends together until I read about it on here lol.

Looks like both pb and mm changed format in 2010 officially and it's been nothing but record setting jackpots since. I just saw a top 10 jackpot list for both. Most within the past five years. I think $2 b is upon us. Considering the taxation on the top prize, why would the government ban this crazy practice.
I've just seen far too many broke bingo and casino winners to know it's a disease.

If you pick your own numbers, you ain't playing just for fun. All these winners say they never play but picked Their numbers just this one time. Yeah right.

Trying to be a voice of reason.
