Both Turtles and SOR4 have gotten 100 hours of gameplay from me. Me and my folks have played the hell put of both on the PC.

Turtle game is fun, but they made it really easy. You can recharge your super whenever you feel like it as long as you don't get hit. Surprised they didn't have a more SoR4 type of system.

That was one of the best video game magazines in its debut. The maps, tips and tricks, and coverage were top notch.

I loved and hated these Mega Man gamesall the way up to the X ones where you could play with zero. They were fun as hell but also frustrating like crazy.
You didn’t like the Mega Man games or the later ones? I loved the NES versions, 1-5 I believe.

I never had a subscription but did have a few issues...must have been from a video game store or magazine stand. A friend of mine had a subscription...I remember seeing that first issue on his kitchen table.

I always died looking for Shredder after killing the Technodrome with Donatello.
There were a ton of difficult NES games.
I always felt the Genesis was easy (Altered Beasts, Forgotten Worlds, etc). Thunder Force II was probably the hardest launch title (but I think there was a stage select).

I ended up getting only MarioKart Wii, Melee, and Joe….they messed around and let me catch some slick mess they were trying, got a PS5.
