great read OP & even better show. One of my favorites growing up. It really makes me sad when I think that my children will not be waching the great cartoons like doug that we had growing up.

Cant say that completely...i think these shows will end up being like old Warner Bros cartoons we used to see growing up...they will def still be around, word to some of the younger folks saying that they saw nothing but 'recycled" tunes during their child hood
