Went to Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios today. Was pretty fun. Rained on and off but luckily nothing really bad and got to ride almost everything

Man. I missed my best friend's daughter's baptism today because apparently my invite got lost in the mail and literally everyone who went forgot to tell me about it. Literally my dude hit me up now after realizing I was missing all day. I was the best man to this dude's wedding. I'm surprised I'm not a little more upset about it. Or maybe I'm just beginning to not expect much from ppl these days..

This is just my thinking, but when was the last time you spoke to your friend? I mean things like this are planned out in advance usually. So, somewhere along the line, shouldn't you two have talked and it came up at some point? I get the invite being lost in the mail and all, but a conversation kills that.
