the thread about nothing...

Thats a great price.
Pre-owned certified im assuming.
What year is it?

Yes. I believe it’s a 2008.

I have another offer on the table for Air King Arabic Blue Dial 14000 c. 1995 for $2700. He’s just waiting on me.

I really wanted that 14200...

Now he text me saying “If you can find same watch for a lower price, I’ll honor that price. But it has to be 9/10 like the one I have. With that being said $3200 with overnight shipping.”

I'm 26 and wanna get my driver's license ASAP
Been holding it off bc I'm in NJ/NYC -- but dad is sick and can't drive anymore
Any tips/advice? Thanks TAN fam

Ha! He's sounds desperate now. Why would you go back to him that you found a lower price elsewhere.

At the negotiation table you never reveal "other buyers or sellers prices" unless both parties know the real market value.

Keep playing the game he would fold eventually.

I'd recommend hiring a personal instructor. He'll supply you with his own car that has brakes on the passenger side to prevent you from doing anything stupid.

Driving is fun. Don't be scared.

I think the biggest tip I can give you is always check your blind spot and be wary of whenever you're in someone's blind spot. Always look both ways when you turn on an intersection. Don't run lights and don't tailgate. If someone is tailgating you, change lanes.

I think my mom was 28 years old when she learned to drive. So, it's never too late

I can't imagine not driving, and I live in NY. Maybe it's cuz I had moved to LI around the time I learned to drive. I'd imagine that you'd do it much less in Queens/Bk/etc.

In some cultures people don't accept free food from strangers or people they may even know.

Reasons being bad juju/black magic.

Not saying you do that but people can have their reservations when accepting food from strangers even if it comes off as innocent or they want to be hospitable.
I understand the apprehension. It caught me a little off guard, I usually give to kids of parents I am more familiar with and was never denied. Believe me, I am a cynic myself in most cases. I've seen many instances of friends screwing over other friends, and I have posted those topics in this thread recently. But kids in a way represent innocence and hope to me. I think serial killers and psychos probably did not get much love and were scarred at a young age. If by me giving a treat to a child changes his perception then it's all worth it to me.

Do you at lest have a permit?
If not go get that small little dmw black book and download any nyc DMV apps and start prepping for the exam.

I gave away my first car (given to me when I was 18 a million years ago) a couple of days ago. 2003 Honda Civic LX. I gave it away without even thinking much about it, but now I kinda regret that I didn't say goodbye or take it out for one last drive on that last day :lol

I had the same car it was given to me once my older sis got a new car.

The car Almost killed me. Good riddance.

Good and bad memories.

My honda had crazy longevity. Besides one shot transmission, and a few accidents, it held up well and I didn't have to worry about anything except routine inspections and oil change.

It's a low maintenance vehicle. Great point a-b car.

Did you give it away for free?

My cousin needed a car. And I'm driving my 2016 subie all the time so, I was like, here you go. Lol

Yea, I gave it away for free alchemist iq alchemist iq to my cousin

The only thing that sucks was I had trouble finding the title to the car. And it turns out that the honda dealership never sent us the title and they're making us jump through hoops to get it lmao

Practice parallel parking like hell since u live in the city.

Also, the only thing that cannot be prepared for is driving on the highway in extremely hard rain.

If this ever happens to you, go in the slow lane and just follow the white line. You can always see the line.
Or just pull over with your hazards on.
That will come in handy one day.

Besides that you should pass the test.
It's not hard.

How the hell did the dealer never give you a title. Hope you didn't have to pay for a replacement title.

Free car? Isn't bad especially if your given it a family member.
