the thread about nothing...

I disagree. As a society, we are more modernized and have access to more resources than we once did before, yet people are doing all kinds of ****ery. Injecting people with strange substances at concerts, people selling their children, mass shootings etc. Some of these things have happened in the past, but not to the scale now. I can see why people think times are worse.

Edit: Eye see why you may agree with her though.
I understand the point why some people think that the world is worse nowadays and I share the same sentiment. with the availability and access to information and resources, people still have the incapability to think of what is happening around them. then we have these movements like #metoo, #lgbtq, #white supremacy, #feminism, #atheism, #Qanon, #Trumpism, etc... the scale has indeed greatly reaching the point of ridiculousness and even politics have gone down to a new low. there are times that I wish we are still in the old days when we could confront other people freely without the fear of getting sued because of an "excuse" card.

I had to take a **** one day back in Kindergarten and my teacher wouldn't let me go to the restroom since we just came from a group/class restroom break. I just sat at my desk and ****ted on my self.

Classmates started to smell it and told the teacher. Sent me to the nurse's office and cleaned me right up.

damn, I hated that.

I got detention a few times in high school for going to the bathroom when a teacher told me no.

Me asking was just a formality. I was going to go to the bathroom regardless of the answer I got. Nobody should be telling anyone when they can or can't carry out a natural, necessary bodily function.
it's also the same at work. I remember being questioned regarding my bathroom breaks for it at a work site that I long abandoned and despised til now. funny how the supervisors were more into such petty stuff that gets you into trouble while they can't even resolved the more important stuff that needs fixing. I'm just glad I don't work there anymore and got themselves in trouble including the management. the only regret was that I didn't speak up or tell what was going on in that site when I was there. thought that I could trust people there but it was a bad place.

they would again blame this on mental health.

Thank you for posting this. It was an interesting watch. Insane how much focus their is on function & detail behind their knives. Takes a lifetime to learn the art in it's entirety. The aesthetics are beautiful as well. I need me one now lol. Never knew you could slice a tomato so damn thin. I have a Damascus steel knife I bought as a souvenir when I went to Alaska a few years ago. Going to take some pics of it & other items to post later.

I must say, so far that I have seen. couples that got proposed on simple places and events have longer running relationships in general as comparison to some romantic extravagant proposals done. reading at that animal's background of making fun of the couple, I wouldn't be surprised considering she's a feminist event coordinator.
