I understand the point why some people think that the world is worse nowadays and I share the same sentiment. with the availability and access to information and resources, people still have the incapability to think of what is happening around them. then we have these movements like #metoo, #lgbtq, #white supremacy, #feminism, #atheism, #Qanon, #Trumpism, etc... the scale has indeed greatly reaching the point of ridiculousness and even politics have gone down to a new low. there are times that I wish we are still in the old days when we could confront other people freely without the fear of getting sued because of an "excuse" card.I disagree. As a society, we are more modernized and have access to more resources than we once did before, yet people are doing all kinds of ****ery. Injecting people with strange substances at concerts, people selling their children, mass shootings etc. Some of these things have happened in the past, but not to the scale now. I can see why people think times are worse.
