The Timepiece Thread vol: READ THE 1st POST!!!

I've seen people working at Costco at the customer service desk wearing Panerai's and white gold Day Date IIs. These are completely tradie looking/blue collar guys.

I've also seen a fedex delivery guy wearing a gold and diamond buddha pendant with a Jesus piece and two tone Rolex Datejust II, too.
any watch preference when your stocking FL ?

RFX- do they no longer offer discounts on Rolex's?

they do, they just withhold that info because most are willing to pay retail

there are still some that it is impossible to get a discount like the SS Skydweller and Ceramic Daytonas

you just got to take your time and be patient, see what all the ADs in your area is offering

I’ve seen a lot of casino dealers wear decent timepieces. President Day-Dates sometimes spotted on pit bosses’ wrists.

In Asia, cab drivers may have on Rolex, some real, most fake.

i guess it depends on the city

when i got mine, all 4 stores i visisted had it on display and was more than willing to let go that same day

but that's LA for you

Looks like Rolex is teasing a GMT. Should be interesting.

It doesn't, at least not at this juncture in time. Big waitlists for nearly every in-demand stainless sport model. There's even waitlists for Submariners in some areas. Very limited supply at the moment.

Wore one of my favorites today.

Question for the NT watch lords, as I can't find the answer myself. Is this an official Submariner or something like a Bamford custom?

I may be partial, but I think it's fire. Anymore info would be greatly appreciated.

Aside from that, I'd 'like' to ask for this IWC as a wedding gift, but I feel like it's highly unlikely with the limited number being made. The price seems reasonable around $5k

you are not alone, this is a beauty, i've always been a fan of IWC and they make great watches

don't be discouraged by the limited number, they're not going to sell out and if you can wait, it'll pop up in the grey market even

you think so? when was the last time they shipped GMTs with a jubillee bracelet?

also curious about that jubillee, usually the outer metals wider but it looks all the same size this time around
