They did find a piece in Madagascar...

If you look at the map, there's this giant blue space on the left hand side. Not like there's a lot of people there to witness it. The only reason they found the Air France flight that crashed in the Atlantic was by dumb luck. With the Mylasian plane, they're not only looking in a remote part of the ocean, but it's also a lot deeper.

Why did nobody put on a flotation device? Could be hypoxia, or maybe some people did and weren't able to stay on for weeks on end. Plus, it's not like the people would have a cell signal way out there for someone to contact them, right?
