I'm just wondering y is it that they won't retro cars? Imagine being able to buy a real muscle car? A classic? A mustang, camaro, impala, etc.

they gotta reproduce parts too for when the car needs new ones. plus the reason they came out newer cars is because technology advanced so you aren't necessarily getting the best product
Pretty much.
Sometimes, they bring back nameplates (Pontiac GTO, Chevrolet Camaro, Chevrolet Monte Carlo) or names similar to the original (Ford GT, Nissan 350Z). And thenthere are companies that reproduce classics, such as the Shelby Cobra, as stated above, and the Shelby GT500.
And then you have the cars that take design cues from other cars from decades past....

and techincally they are retroing cars...all those chargers, challengers, etc. that we all like are retro inspired.

They are...kind of. Look at the new mustangs, camaros, and challengers, even the thunderbird from a few years back....they all have a very retro look. Like the classic body updated with a little modern style.
