I like this one being around people that can challenge me makes me want to do even better, that what I'm doing now is not good enough.

Also don't be afraid to ask for help, though I could just figure out things myself, it's much faster having someone showing me how to do it.

I guess if you concentrate in class and on getting good grades instead of half-assing everything and trying to just get a degree, it will provide excellent experience in the future for your career

When looking for jobs good internships require good grades. Companies will also ask for your GPA. I am 29 and still get asked to see my transcript.

I tried to change this girl (not in a deliberate way. just slowly and subtly), but man ... some people just refuse to change.

And listen.

There are two kinds of things in life: things you CANT control and things you CAN control.

There is no point in worrying about things you CANT control; this is pointless. Focus on things you CAN control. Things you can always control are your attitude, regardless of the situation, (you can always CHOOSE to have a positive attitude no matter the situation) and how hard you work. Learn to control these two things and most likely youll live a fulfilling and successful life.

Dont drive off of the road in the woods at night, drunk, you will drive into a sinkhole and have to spend all your 18th bday money on a tow truck, and be grounded for 6 weeks or so.
