--[ TOP GEAR U.K SERIES 24 Started Mar. 6 ]--[The GRAND TOUR ]

Episode 3 is up. Catching it later after work.
Thanks for posting.  Great episode.  Ninjahood should watch it, so he can understand why most of us would choose a BMW, Audi, or Mercedes over an American car.  As much as they hate on American cars, most, if not all, of it is warranted.  If I just wanted a car that goes fast and get the most bang for my buck then I might choose a Mustang or Corvette, but it's not always about speed and power, a little luxury helps when you're stuck in traffic or just cruising around...

Good episode. at the blatant racism on the French. Pretty solid run by the GT-86, wish they elaborated more on the BRZ. I wonder why Subaru agreed to such a lopsided deal with Toyota.

honestly ive been wondering sorta the same thing. i just can't see the point of releasing the same exact car under two diff brands? i like the car (a bit small for me tho) but personally i think it should've been a strictly toyota joint. toyota hasn't had a legit sports car since the celica/supra/mr2? (:nerd: :nerd:) this would've been a solid addition to their otherwise eco family friendly lineup.

subaru should've just focused on improving aesthic design to their lineup, devoted a bit more money to interior quality, and putting a damn 6 speed gearbox in that wrx lol

Because Toyota needed Subaru's boxer engine to make the car work and Toyota is part owner of Subaru.

I think everyone pretty much knows that the BRZ/FRS/GT86 are all the same cars and again Toyota owns part of Subaru. I don't think they got the short end at all, the BRZ is selling very well and they are now amping up the production now. I mean even Subaru thought it wouldn't be as in demand or else they would have released or planned to make more than 6,000 units for the US market but now they are sending 2,000 more units to the US due to demand. I think the partnership is helping Subaru out... a lot.

Haha, always LOL when Jezza takes shots at all the other countries... no one is safe!

But yeah, another entertaining episode. TBH, I was hoping they used another car for the challenge.  Cool interview with Amy, though I've never heard her music before.

sales wise yea, that brz apparently is moving off the lots quick. i guess that would be the only reason you need.

 I love when Clarkson does that, he ripped the Mexicans badly though, I was laughing my *** off when he got on the Mexican Ambassador last season :wow:  but I liked how they made it a theme of the first ep of this season.

I think he should of used a different car also, maybe a 3 series or something similar with good power but better MPG.

dude was getting 14mpg on highway tho? :x :x and it vibrates at high speed? shelby for the birds...

:smh: that bullet train should be in america by now.

I enjoyed the new episode though with James falling asleep it made it real that the presenters are getting old. I think with the Mustang if the rules were really pick a car under under 35000, there's not really a car that is interesting as that Mustang with the Shelby history or has that much power. Other cars in that price range aren't really flapship models.

Hamilton to reappear on Top Gear

Lewis Hamilton to make his second appearance on Top Gear in an attempt to beat Sebastian Vettel's record

Lewis Hamilton is to reappear on the hit BBC tv show Top Gear this weekend in an attempt to break the record for the quickest F1 driver to get behind the wheel of its 'reasonably-priced car'.

The Mercedes driver appeared on the show for the first time back in 2007 during its tenth series, posting a time of 1min 44.7secs at the wheel of the Suzuki Liana used for the challenge.

It means Hamilton currently sits fifth on the F1 driver list, behind Sebastian Vettel, Rubens Barrichello, The Stig and Nigel Mansell – although Hamilton's time was set in wet conditions.

Hamilton will now make his second appearance on the show on Sunday, where his target will be to beat Vettel's time of 1min 44.0secs.

"This time the track is dry and Lewis is taking no prisoners in his attempts to smash the lap record," the BBC said.

Jenson Button, Kimi Raikkonen and Mark Webber are the other existing F1 drivers to have taken on the challenge.

Should be an interesting episode.

Good episode once again. The rugby segment and the handbrake segment  And they've managed to draw a **** yet again. Can't believe they dedicated that much of the show to the Cee'd though. :\
