Of course he doesn't appreciate the destruction but the power of nature and the beauty of it. Same goes for the eye of a hurricane or a lighting bolt...

I live in Indiana...definitely Tornado Alley. However, I'd like to see a tornado in my lifetime...without dying or anything.
