Vacationing solo

i went to new york by myself a couple of years ago. i actually got the chance to link up with a few niketalkers while i was there. its great, you are on no one else's time but yours & you can do whatever you want to do without having to think of others.

I plan on traveling solo for every vacation I ever make.
The only thing that irks me is that I can get into deep poop if no one's there to back me up.
Such as getting my stuff stolen, etc.

Nothing wrong with vacationing alone but I prefer to go with other people. Most people I go with are willing to try and do anything so it's always been cool.

Went a few places by myself, I found it more enjoyable. Met new friends and acquaintances and didn't have to deal with arguing over activities or time constraints.
Every time I've traveled with friends it always comes close to fist fights cause we're all alphas.

Plan on visiting  Prauge, Norway, Amsterdam, Dubai, Ibiza and Tokyo over the next 2 years  any NT'ers wanna plan a trip I'm down wit it...

Last summer I vacationed with 25 people from my family. Always had to wait for somebody, the complaining, and the head butting. Most of the time I wondered off and explored by myself. I probably would never travel solo but with one or two friends would be quite the experience to test ourselves.

Do you spend no time in your room and try to over compensate that you're alone by being over-friendly and socializing / clinging onto everybody you meet?

I cant walk into a bar by myself and sit and drink way too self conscious. i dunno.

Yea its funny how friends change when youre traveling together.........thats why I said to em  this year Ill never go on vacation with them again.
Solo dolo traveler from now on. I could spend all day walking around the city, its interesting cause its all new to me. Only time im in the hotel is when I go to sleep

i got this free bus trip to nyc in january and im going solo. i went to chicago with a friend but he was doing this volunteer thing so i was always by myself during the day and i still had a great time. going anywhere in the states solo is fine but i wouldnt go overseas by myself.

Burbank aye? You should pay a visit to Santa Monica Beach while your at it. It is a nice beach, not the best in the world but hopefully you won't regret it. And hopefully the weather will be decent.

I prefer to travel alone. I can set my own agenda and I don't have to give in to what anyone else wants to do. Going to Vegas with a few people who were on their own agenda was brutal. Never again.

I want to do this but I just think I would seriously get lonely thus making things unenjoyable. Like if I went to D.R. by myself

   , but I think I would just miss having someone I know with me, I would have to interact with randoms all the time, I dunno...     im also an introvert, yet i think this would make me lonely.
