Homie's story reminds me of one of my mentors... although my mentor actually did some years in the joint and wouldn't do this type of self-promotion.  Not that it's bad, people need to hear this kind of story... but this dude just struck me a little bit... off.

Obviously that's probably just me and it takes nothing away from him, his accomplishments, or the adversity that he's overcome.  I just can't help but compare him to my mentor who I have a bias toward for obvious reasons

Congrats to this guy though, there's nothing I like seeing more than someone overcoming adversity like he has.  Beautiful thing...
