[COLOR=#red]Real talk, why all the hate for the M9?Samsung paying dudes off.

Because they basically made the exact same phone and just changed the camera....which still isn't up to par.

There's literally no reason to buy it over the M8, which you can find for 200 less.

agreed. and i gotta say, the m8, like most curved back phones, feels great in the hand. a bit slippery tho, and the power button is on top, but still a solid feeling phone.

just discovered all of my playlists have been deleted after this update to 5.0 as well.... this is pathetic.

this blogger's not pleased with the S6 edge battery. said it might be a lollipop issue but it only lasted 6 hours for him with light usage. hes getting an M9 today and will report on how that battery does.

I can see and agree with most of the points the blogs make about the phone being similar to last year, but some of these reviews have so much exaggerated venom and hatred for it

.  Things are definitely looking funny right now lol...

Reasons why I dont pay attention to those "benchmarks", even the battery benchmarks.   Looping something over and over or running some test script is not telling me anything.  Take the device out, browse the net, get some tweets off, drop a pic on IG, check Clash of Clans, watch some Snapchat stories, read some emails, text some yambs, and tell me if it will make it to the end of the day.  Give me THAT benchmark lol

agreed. real life usage>>>>>benchmarks that are doing things that youd never do all at one time anyway. my M9 should arrive this week and will report how good/bad the battery life is after using it for a few days

Because it doesn't look like the leaked unofficial renders.

They didn't change the design.

I'm ok with the design. The M8 was one of the most beautiful phones last year, and that's not going to change one year later.

Using the 810 wasn't a great idea either.

I just saw the M9 amd S6s in store. They are pretty nice. I like the S6 more and the M9 was dumb fast.

Add 50 bucks for the 32GB version, though.

That's another reason I was really happy with my Moto X purchase, I had the 140 off coupon and the phone was already well priced at it's release and considering I bought it off contract, that extra savings made a difference for me.

The Moto X is sick, just didn't like the camera when I was taking pics in AT&T. Photos looked subpar.

The camera is a drawback, it'll just struggle with lowlight and faster moving subjects. Plus it has some trouble with focus here and there.

Battery has been solid for me, it just so happens that work and home both have bad reception for me (but I also had bad reception with Verizon at work and home so whatever), so my phone will drain more because of that. But I'll get consistently 3.5-4.5 screen on time and I've never had it die on me when I needed it so I'm satisfied... ESPECIALLY coming from a GNex.

Oh and because of the screen, I don't think there's going to be a tempered glass protector that fits flush. From what I've read all of them have a slight bubble on the outline of the protector/screen, so that's a bit disappointing.. but other than that, I love this phone.

I'll hold on to it for awhile, I'm sure. But I'm hoping the 2015 Moto X beefs up the battery a bit and improves the camera and it'll be perfect.
