Anyone else still on the nexus 5? I can't find a phone that I feel is drastically superior and worth the upgrade.

Me, been going back n forth on the note 4, but don't feel like it's much of a "need" at this point. I've been rockin the paranoid ROM and I'm happy.

Opened up the wireless charger and portable battery. The battery is dope it's small and the retractable cables are really hidden

Z3 I've heard has good battery..and it's fairly cheap.

Tmo sent my expensive *** phone in bubble wrap packaging..couldn't even throw it in a box :{

The only thing I really want from a new phone is battery.

Yeah I totally agree, but even note users are starting to see a drop in battery. FWIW I get better battery with this paranoid ROM than stock. It's 4.4 based so I'm guessing that's why. I loved my N5 when it was running KK, all went downhill with 5.0 IMO

I like lollipop, bit I feel like on kit Kat the nexus 5 was the fastest phone available. That and the battery was better. Also, Carver thanks I'll look into it.

What's the big deal about wireless charging? Just want some clarity.

You just place the device on top to charge with either something you attach to the device or something that's built in. They have them in Starbucks if you wanna try them out.

no idea first time ever using one..main reason to get it was for the portable battery. It'll be at my desk full time.

for those considering the M9 and worried about camera, this guy on XDA who is big on changing camera settings to achieve good pics seems to have figured out how to get very good pics on the phone. scroll down to the post by the user named "hamidir" he quotes pictures taken by a guy named adam182 who used his settings for the camera (and also posted the setting before the pics) and they came out pretty nice imo. then again im not a camera/picture junkie. they look good by my standards.

All dude said was to cap at a low ISO and bump sharpness.

That's obviously going to make the picture come out clearer and sharper.

Has anyone figured out the "Take forever the focus" thing with the Note 4 yet?

That's nothing you can fix with an update..the fact that you need to tap the back to get it to focus is 100% hardware.

As far as m9 goes..it's not about taking a single good picture with everything set perfect. It's about taking good pictures easily on a consistent basis imo

Yup, lowering the ISO isn't a secret. What happens when you're in a dark setting?

Yea HTC has historically had bad image processing.  The best sensor in the world wont matter if the software cant process it into a quality image.  The cams have always had potential to take great shots, but you shouldnt have to tweak anything to get there.  HTC needs to go ahead and hire a cat from Sony or somewhere to get their image processing software up to par lol.  Thats where Samsung and Apple are killing them.

They have obviously made some tweaks to the M9 to make the processing better, but it still could stand for some improvement.  When I tried the M9 yesterday, it took some really good shots, but I could tell that they could be way better with the right tweaks.
