Sorry if this is the wrong place.
There's a shop here in San Diego, I've been in there before and they definitely sell early release sneakers, maybe even fake sneakers.
Fast forward to today, I found somebody that wants to trade shoes with me.
He said he bought his pair at the shop I mentioned. So I told him info about the shop, and that the trade will be a no go because of the reasons I mentioned. So he did a google search and he found a couple of articles mentioning the shop, and that the store owner faced charges, and admitted to buying knock offs. There's no info on what ended up happening to the shop owner though, and obviously the shop is still open.
I believe they have a no return policy. So in this situation, what can the guy do to get his money back? The guy doesn't know what to do, and I would like to help him. Will getting the police involved solve anything?
