What City Has The Lowest Sales Tax?

Delaware has none.

my home state (MD) is only like 6%. NY sales tax is OD.. like 8% or more i tihnk.

solid 13% in Ontario, Canada! which is actually down from the 15% a few years ago lol... i know that's not the lowest sales tax, but I guess relatively, now all your guys' sales taxes don't seem that bad!

just came back from montreal and everything was SOOOOOOOO expensive up there not to mention their tax is like 12.X% almost 13%. and i thought NY was high at like 8.875...

Philly most definitely has sales tax and it's actually 8% which is 2% higher than the state's. PA just doesn't tax unprepared food, most clothes and shoes.

Oregon and New Hampshire have sales tax on prepared foods while Montana, Delaware, and Alaska are completely tax-free.

Just an FYI, If you purchase a car from a different state such as DE but your registered address is in a different state, then you have to pay your state's sales tax.
