Comcast cable internet. Not the Triple Play plan thing they have going on, tho. Just the internet and TV plans separate. I'm not sure on theprice for the internet.

I almost forgot to do this. I just upgraded to Road Runner turbo, it should kick in tomorrow. %$$$ better be faster.

Anybody have it ? Was there a big difference ?

I've got a 20Mb connection at home and 8Mb at work - both are pretty respectable but you really see the difference with the faster one when streaming video- it's a lot smoother.

Right now I'm on my new mobile broadband I got last weekend for when I travel with work. it's pretty good - about $15 a month and it's 2Mb whenyou're in their main areas - I'm right on the edge right now as I'm on vacation in the boonies and I'm getting:



It's fine for checking emails and stuff but I updated a bunch of podcasts yesterday for my wife's ipod and it took like 4 hours!

speedtest is very misleading

the notations should be KBP/S = kilobits per second

and not

KB/S= kilobyters per second

unless you are in korea,, there is no way you guys are downloading at 40-60 MEGABTYES per second

Yes, but in reality you'll probably only get about 8Mb.
