im trying for the m.i.t/ asst. MGR position
been runnin shoe stores for 6yrs now, what should i expect?

10-12$ /hr?
48-56 a yr as a store MGR?
1 1/2 yr from mit to mgr?

its all geographical, im an am in the seattle area i make 1275 n hour but across the state the cost of living is a lot cheaper and ams make like 10 n hour. Soit really depends on where you live and the cost of living in that area.

store managers make 40 k with bonuses

takes about a year to go from a mit to a store manager.

Were switchin up to commission soon so this could all change.

hmmm... well im in houston, texas (the greatest place on earth)

weird, cuz i would think it would be the same all around...

nope if theres differences within my state im pretty sure itll be different in houston too lol. Whats the cost of living like over there?

i'm sure if you are at a bigger store doing good numbers you'll get paid more than a smaller store...

um,from what ive always heard is that its alot cheaper in tx than anywhere else in the u.s...
but uh ya...

so aside from that...

hourly as an m.i.t? any commission as of now? attainable bonuses? im pretty stoked

all manager pay is geographical ( am, mit, sm)
Managers in high volume stores do get paid more because theyve been there longer and have moved onto a bigger store from smaller ones. Also They tend to bonusmore.

MITs get over time though, not sure what my mit gets paid though.
commission should come along around august before back to school season.
and theres pto after 3 months of avg 35 hours a week.

hmmm... interesting...
obviously the Gen. MGR. position is what im shotting for eventually
but how possible is it for me to make 33k as an m.i.t?
hopefully i can match $2200 a month.

i dont see 33k happening man, unless you work monster ot and commission kicks in and you just make monster sales even then idk if you cna get that much. thechances of 33k happening is highly unlikely. With the cost of living lower there too you wont be getting paid as much, so yeah sorry man but 33k isnt happeningas an mit. My mit makes maybe 2000 a month but thats with the high cost of living up here so idk man.

well not as many, theres labor hours to stick with. They are the only ones that get overtime pay though.
