What's the grimiest/most unsanitary thing you have seen in a restaurant?

Dennys (I know, I know...straight up classy)...back in the day we all hit up Dennys for some late night eats...my boy orders a water, but it had some blackspecs in it that we couldn't figure out what it was. When we brought it to the attention of the waitress, she used her nasty acrylic nails (blue w. palmtrees on them) to scoop out the nastiness in his water, and then asked what we would like to eat (without getting a new water)....she must have throught he wasgoing to drink the water after she "sanitized" it

A band-aid with blood still on it was stuck at the bottom of my plate. Before she sat the plate down I saw something dangling from the bottom. I lifts it upand saw what it was...I almost threw up. Red Lobster! I got some Free vouchers and left. Never touched the plate.

my boy used to manage a burger king...the stories he'd tell me....used to run trains on girls.....some girl on her period and not washing her hands afterusing the bathroom..just stuff that'll make you not wanna eat fast food

I ate at the KFC the week before

I used to hit that spot up aftercoming from the bars over there. So yeah, that gets my vote.

Back on Topic: Seems like wherever I dine-in at if I look hard enough, I'll spot some hair on my plate or dirty dishes.. Except up-scale restaurants..

Folks be lookin at me crazy as hell when I ask for plastic utensils and a to-go plate before my food even gets there.

when i worked at vons, i saw a couple rats on the floor running around and a couple LARGE roaches on walls and eating products

I was at a restaurant with my family and my cousins (who were probably about 4 or 5), later one of them needed to go to the restroom.

Him being young, I had to escort him to the restrooms, once we got in there, there was a foul stench. It was hot and muggy plus it smelled literally like #!$@.Well, of course my cousin had to go #2, so we go to first stall and there are chunks of fecal matter scattered all over the toilet. I close the door and keepit moving. The second and last stall had vomit all over the seats! I was like "F that" and walked out to go find a waiter and/ or manager. None wereinsight and all the while my cousin is literally about to explode. I was forced to act.

So I man up go back in, get some paper towels, wet them down, get more paper towels, and go back into the vomit stall (doo-doo stall was out of the question).I start wiping down the seat of the vomit and try to get it clean. I go back to the sink, get more paper towels, put some soap on them, and go back to wipe theseats/ area again. I proceed to put, I think, 10 or so of those protective seat covers for my cousin and he handles his business while I'm desperatelywashing my hands over and over.

Of course, by the time we exit the restrooms the whole staff and manager are all visible now. I go up to the manager and tell him what happened. He goes intothe restroom sees the dirty $#% toilet and then the sparkling clean stall. So in gratitude he gives my entire party free meals and gift certificates for nexttime.

When I used to be a full time plumber, I had to break down this wooden platform (to access pipes) they used in the kitchen since the stove/counter was way toohigh.

Saw 5 cat-sized dead rats. I can never trust any restaurant.

a restaurant where i used to work had some dead rats all over the dining room floor.

same place, a lady was drinking a dr pepper. she got halfway through it and there was a smashed roach stuck on the inside of the glass. a server saw it firstand swooped it up and gave her a refill real quick before she saw.

once, instead of using cooking spray to grease down a sheet pan to put bacon on, we used silver polish.
