Pardon me for the long read, but I'm a detailed writer.
So there's this girl named Erica who'll pretty much do whatever you want after a few drinks. Erica is best friends with one of my main homegirls Denise. Then there's Bill who's been in the friendzone with Erica for years, but suddenly started taking advantage of the drink situation and started falling in love, but never smashing, just getting feels here and there.
Bill could never man up though and just ask Erica out, instead he would keep asking Denise when the next time they were going out was, since she knew Erica would definitely be around. This goes on for 2-3 months and Erica knows Bill likes her and it's not mutual, but she's bored and getting free drinks etc, so she's just waiting for until Bill officially asks to make it official, to deny him.
Meanwhile Denise realizes what's going on that Bill is pretty much using her to get to Erica, it was getting bad to the point where Bill would ask Denise what Erica's work schedule was, what time she got off etc. Denise then talked about celebrating her day at a casino, but she needed someone to book the room. Of course Bill volunteers to pay the 379+ tax for the saturday casino hotel stay as a "birthday gift" for Denise. Everyone who stayed in that room offered to split the cost, but Bill wants to be a "baller" in Erica's eyes.
Now it's Denise's birthday dinner and invites are made to both Bill and Erica. Erica can't go due to family obligations, so Bill finds out and says he can't make it either. Two days later Erica's plans change and she can make it to dinner, Bill finds out and asks Denise if he can still come and for the restaurant details. Denise asks Bill what suddenly changed, so he makes up some bull and shes like whatever cuz they're good friends.
Then two days after that Bill invites Denise to go to the bar with his friends thinking Erica would be tagging along, but his plan failed. So Denise is their witnessing all of Bill's guy friends telling him how proud they are that he finally has a official girlfriend etc.
Of course Erica is made aware and her and Denise are pissed.
During the days leading up to the casino bday celebration and Denise calls me and she tells me I need to do her a favor and that no one can find out. She say's I need to do whatever I can to try and hook up with Erica over the weekend, so Bill would go away. I'm like sure whatever, cuz Bill pretty much annoyed me every time I encountered him.
Now it's showtime, my friends and I staying at another casino head over to bday girl's hotel room to pregame. As soon as I get off the elevator, I see Erica completely sauced by the vending machine, and Bill copping some free feels. So I walk by pretending I didn't see them, in my mind I admit I was like "the hell did I just agree to?" So Erica sees me and runs up behind me and gives me a really tight hug and I proceed to do my thing. We get in the hotel room and I just keep talking to Erica but it's getting awkward with Bill constantly trying to interrupt the conversation and offering Erica shots. But Denise took care of that by luring Bill away constantly the whole night. (Not too hard when Bill is also sauced)
So my boy drives us back to the casino where I'm staying to go to the club. And before we get on line this guy Bill is feeding a bunch of cash into a slot machine while Erica plays. Then while on line Denise notices I stopped putting in work, so she pushes Erica my way and I return from unemployment. I guess this guy starts realizing whats happening and starts punching and banging his head against the wall. Then we get in the club and Bill is super-cuffing Erica.
Finally we go out for a smoke break, just me, Bill, Erica and Denise. And Bill and Denise start having a heart-to-heart and both start crying, one is asking "what is that guy doing?" and another "why are you trying to use me for my friend?". From here it was just too easy, Erica tells them she's just gonna walk around while they settle things. Then she tells me she wants to see my room, it was on as soon as we got in the elevator.
The next day I go back to Denise's hotel to pick up a friend who needs a ride back and their room was a total mess. And while the girls go have breakfast, Bill is cleaning it up, he leaves a hefty tip and he reveals that he paid for all the top-shelf liquor. Everyone says their goodbyes and I still can't believe I let this guy man-hug me out of no where.
From what Denise told me it wasn't too awkward of a ride back in Bill's car, but when Erica asked not to be dropped off last he started getting mad, so when he dropped off Denise, Erica just grabbed her stuff and got out too.

I dig what u sayin. Once the image is painted in the you plant the seed. However, there also has to be responsibility of the male who has the simpish actions. Some dudes have low self-esteem and get no play so they go out on a limb to perform these simpish actions and finds it works. Even if they get burned later, the satisfaction of knowin they had the girl's attention at some point is gratifyin to them.
Yea thats true but if you are around nothing but ppl who promote this type of behavior, alot of times these dudes become products of their environment. Add that with low self-esteem, outside pressures, hormones, and wanting to be social accepted. Then finnacial status plays a big role as well. Alot of these guys especially in the single mom dept. they mom tries to provide all of these worldly possessions, to make up for the fact that they ran the daddy off and/or he is a deadbeat, or/and to do this whole i want you to have all the things I never had trip. So then you have a guy with everything he wants, money in his pocket, low self-esteem, a mindframe from a woman who has lead him to overvalue womens worth, and is horny and desperate. Since he has no game/confidence etc to pull the chick, the only other means he has to get the chick is money.
Then add to the fact he grew up with a person struggling, and lacking a man to help, and all these lipstick alley type chicks who drop bugs in his ear about a man should do this that and the other. So then he sees the chick and thinks of all those instances, life examples, etc and therefore he is trying to right the so call wrongs he was lead to believe by his single mom and other outside sources.
I aint saying chivalry is dead, but the main issues are over-evaluating women. Not to degrade woman like cars, but to many dudes spending treating woman like s class mercedes, but really have the value of a mercury marquis. And also just going offa external things like looks etc.
Truth. It's a lot of factors that contributes to this type of behavior. Both internal and external factors play major roles which is sad because it would seem at times these dudes can't think for themselves.

I had an ex friend who would get guys to simp hard for her. They would buy her all kinds of stuff and they would not get anything in return. But, simping can also be done by women. I know some girls that would simp for the guy and he would just take advantage of it.
