When did Chris Bosh become a superstar?

NO laker fan was wanting to trade bynum and odom for bosh. hell after winning the title this year i only seen a couple dudes wanting to trade bynum for bosh straight up.

Him playing with the number 1 and 4 players in the league should make him an even more efficient player then he already is.

smh@ thread starter calling him virgil.... come on now... kwame brown is the definition of virgil. How is he NOT a superstar? hes is arguably the best pf in the league.

CHRIS BOSH IS NOT A SUPERSTAR!

Until you are standing around at work and hear the phrase "Chris Bosh is in town tonight" come out of the mouth of person who isnt a basketball fan, he should not be considered a superstar.

No it's not. People didn't get excited when Tim Duncan came to town during his prime when he made the All-NBA 1st Team for 8 consecutive seasons... a feat matched only by Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Karl Malone, Oscar Robertson, Bob Cousy, Elgin Baylor, and Bob Pettit.

I would tend to agree with dland24's assessment.

The word superstar is used far too liberally nowadays. And Bosh definitely does not qualify as one.

It's pretty pathetic that the media has crowned the Heat trio the Big 3. There was the big 3 of the 80's (Larry Legend, Chief, McHale), and the new big 3 (Truth, Shuttles, KG). Bosh does not make up a "big 3", has done nothing in his career to deserve that.

Agreed.  I agree with your list Juan outside of Danny Granger.
