when to stop buy Jordans

Most likely til I croak, Im a JordanHead for life!!

I swore off buying Jordans about three years ago. But I have gotten some IIIs and Concord XIs since then. Will probably average buying one new pair per year now.

For me, very soon. I'm so disgusted with the process of obtaining the shoes I want. I'm mostly satisfied and I want two more pairs, then I'm out. The last three months of releases showed me A) How stupid people are for sneakers B) How grimy people can get over shoes-SHOES! C) Realzing now more than ever that these "sneakerheads" don't love shoes, they do it strictly for attention. D) and of course the resellers. I'm not dumb (and I'm talking to YOU Nike/JB) It's to the point where now they are realizing these kicks are some sort of mind control and this @#+! is way out of hand. I'd stop buying. I'm starting to feel like my intelligence is being insulted as a consumer.

Its kind of hard to quit the game, at least for me it was. selling practically everything i had to pay for things and then once i became stable again i thought to myself I wont go back turns up i did

I stopped actively pursuing Jordans that came out religiously after XX. Although some of these re-retros have kind of brought back that fan spirit.

Considering I only like III's and IV's, I'm done after this year.
XI's are cool but as a grown %** man (I'm 30), my time is valuable.  I'm not willing to set it aside to stand in line with a bunch of children for a pair of sneakers.

tough to say when ill stop. I'm 32 and a lot of the time I feel like I'm too old to be wearing some of this stuff. Then I think about it like this-Jordan's are shoes of my generation. I've had OG everything but X, XIX, and XXI when they released. so i buy what I like. but I don't wanna be one of those old guys trying to dress like a kid...

14's are cool man but 15's were just killer 18's are the only good ones between 15-20 unless they make them cheaper lol

Never. It's simple, though I have 95% of the Jordans i've always wanted or had childhood memories in, I plan on buying these shoes for my kids and their kids. Like my dad did with me on nikes and Jordan's as a kid. I'll always want to share the luxuries of my life to my future kids.

I definitely only buy the number series. Well not all of the number series. 1-14, 16-19, 21 and 22. And I'll definitely stop when that MSRP hits the $200 mark. OG CWs are a must.

I-XX3 only for me. And for the last couple years I've only been copping OG CW's.Except for MS VI's, I had to cop them.

Not only have I had 99% of the pairs I've wanted, but I've kept them looking new for 6-7+ years. Only other pair I want is pretty much unattainable so it really doesn't count. I know its time for me to stop because they are re-releasing pairs I already have so basically that cycle has come back around. And buying more pairs of the same shoe with lesser quality doesn't make sense to me. Not sure what I'll put my money into next but its played out now unfortunately.

I would say as long as people have enough money because they have jobs to buy them and everyone starts to go to raffles and campouts it means that most won't stop. 11 jordans won't retro for another i say 10 years probably and when they do retro it will be madness again so it will just recycle. I admit i stopped about two years but came back in the fold. Also resellers will continue to get them and make money over and over so most won't stop.

i had jordans 1-23 at one point. took alot of time, effort, and money

but then my love for Js has faded, so started selling em off or trading em one by one. down to 1 pair. will always have a special spot for jordans being that is what got me into collecting but ive moved on.

seen jordan at hardrock casino in tampa last week and he doesn't wear jordans. in some penny loafers and old man clothes. doesnt dress flashy or nothing. even funny thing about this is that on the table behind his their was a group of dudes all rocking jordans and didnt even notice who was at the table next to them at all. haha.

Word man. 32? Whatever; do you. Jordan's are more our generation than these newer kids collecting. It's all good.
