Who decided to nickname the Wht/Red XII "Cherry" XII's?????

I really dont think the Cherry name is even a region specific nickname either. Im in Boston, and every single person that works for me refers to the white/red XIIs as Cherrys, from 16 year old kids to 25 year old adults. Nicknames are the in thing nowadays.

I argued with a guy on YouTube who put "Cherry XII review" as his video title, that the nickname was ridiculous and he told me that "if I had been checking the different internet forums", the term "Cherry XII" has been out for awhile...

I laughed out loud when I read that...dude swore up and down he knew what he was talking about. The idiot is from Toronto I believe.
