Cats were doing that when I was in high school in like 97-98' too, and it wasn't nothing new then. Jit/Juke (Original JUKE, not this JOOKstuff), has been around at least 20 years now, probably more. Probably as long as Ghetto Tech/Tech House has been around, and that is near forever. But yeah,it is basically just a Detroit/Chicago thing, not something you'd see outside of those cities really.
