Government controls the media. Wonder why they're letting this story be aired.

I've been wanting to switch to Linux again, now I have a reason.

Got a free junk lappy that needs a HDD replacement. Looks like I'm going Ubuntu.

Maybe this is why Ballmer retiring. http://huff.to/1f6YJvK 8o

On a different note, how the NSA compiles their data goes beyond simply backdoor access to Windows and servers. They tap the very medium by which we communicate -- fiber. It doesn't matter if you're on Windows, Mac, or Linux. If your machine is connected to the internet, just about everything you do can be monitored in some fashion.

I heard about something very similar through Google; the article mentioned their Project Loon thing but I'm not sure if the meshes in the rest of the article work in the same fashion. Very interesting idea. It's certainly not as private as the author was trying to lead his readers to believe (hell, I could probably work my way into one with Wireshark and a few red bulls), but it sounds awesome. If you don't mind my asking, where are you located? Business ideas... 8o

You know Pixar didn't make that .gif, bruh. :lol

I'm in VA.

And yes a group of average people learning to build a network like that and not securing it properly would be terrible :lol
