Anyone saying the NL Central needs to gtfohwtbs! It's easily the AL West. The Cardinals, Cubs and Milwaukee (Though I hate to say it) are in a dog fight for the division. Houston was there for a bit, but you have 3 teams fighting for that division every season. It's not long before the Reds will be in it too. Yes the Pirates are a lock for the cellar every year, but that's just a given.
I disagree.
The Central is the weakest division in the NL.
How can you call that division a dog fight? The Cards went up 10 games in August and never looked back.
I'm not going to talk about which division has been the strongest/weakest in the last decade just going into this year.
The Cubs imploded last year, the Brewers never really challenged and didn't even finish with a .500 record, the Reds, Astros and Pirates were all garbage last season.
On top of that, the Cubs didn't really improve (*not many teams did this season if you look around, except for the Mariners), the Brewers biggest addition is Randy Wolf, which could blow up in their face (Breakout year in his mid 30's and always injury prone ), the Reds, Astros and Pirates don't look dramatically improved either.
I just don't see how the AL West is the weakest coming into this season with the Angels still being competitive, the Rangers will reap the benefits of that farm system much like we did in 2008, and the M's are easily the most improved team in baseball.
What have your pathetic
Rangers Brewers ever accomplished...really? The only team even worth mentioning in that division is the
Angels Cardinals. The
A's Pirates and Reds give away talent like it's going out of style. The
Mariners Cubs, don't get me started on that organization. That whole division is one big joke
Just sayin' *shrugs*
