I've been growing it out for the past like year and a half. Started my locks 7 weeks ago.


If anyone has any advice for dreadlocks, let me know. I'm waiting for them to get thicker.

i just chopped it off last week. before that my last haircut was a #1 all even and after 8 months it was down to my shoulders in the back

You could start it, but you're definitely not gonna like it for the first few months. Plus, your hair looks mad soft (no Tyler Perry) so it'll take awhile to lock. Whenever you decide to do it, you have to be ready for it. A lot of people start before they're ready to commit, get frustrated and cut itall off.

true, cuz i don't think i'm totally ready
and i don't wanna lock it
and then cut it off 2 months later just cuz it wasn't how i wanted my hair to look
