Your Next Vacation Destination.....?

My girl booked a hotel in Niagara Falls for Labor Day weekend get away.
We're flying into the Buffalo airport and staying on the Canada side.

We've never been, so I'm trying to figure out which side has more attractions and things to do.
Is it easy to go from country to country? I hear there is a bridge with like a $.50 toll for pedestrians.

U renting a car? Toronto is a 2-HR drive north..id suggest to check that out

Yeah its called Rainbow Bridge. it's easy to cross over. Make sure you have your camera out when you're crossing. There's a lot of great photo opportunities.

The Canada side definitely has more things to do. The US side is low key depressing.

I think half / full day is good enough to explore Niagara Falls. I would listen to Isco and drive or bus it to Toronto for a day trip.

isco isco & dakid23 dakid23 appreciate the advice.

We were worried we should have stayed on the US side. But I'm a little more confident now. Is there any type of night life to take advantage of in the CA side? I see theres a casino, but are there any bars/lounges I should check out?

going to hit up Rome in March for my birthday... still need to finalize everything but it will be from 3/7 - 3/13... for anyone who's been there already whats some spots I need to hit up and most importantly how much pocket money do I need for the trip?
Depends on what you trynna do..If your going to the sites I recommend getting in there eaaaaarly especially the Vatican That place gets packed quick..The Colosseum you can snap pics from the outside unlesss you reaaally want to go in..All the fountains and the Spanish steps are walking distance..BRING COMFORTABLE SHOES..food isn't too expensive, as far as pocket money you should be good with a few hundred so you don't have to draw from the ATM can get the conversion charge

Can anyone point me to the best sites to catch trains within England and mainland Europe? :nerd:

Anywhere other than the Caribbean that I can take my wife to, in March (her b-day)? She wants beaches / water / nice weather.

Yea I've been to Cabo, and Playa Del Carmen.

Puerto Vallarta any dif than Cabo?

PV is way different than Cabo. Cabo is like being in a dessert. PV is more tropical and to me and had sort of a small town vibe. They had like one small area at their boardwalk with tourist stuff and some other such things. Overall, PV felt small and the beaches were hit and miss. Like it's a lot of rocks instead of sands, so I assume Cancun is better for that. They do have a lot of tours though where you can take a boat and go to better spots and snorkel and what not. I liked it but I haven't been to Cancun and I almost assume I would like it there better.

I liked Cabo way better than Cancun. But we did all inclusive in Cancun. In Cabo we knew we were staying right at the end of the marina, but on the Pacific Ocean side, so we would eat in town a lot.
Pacific Ocean side sucked. Stayed at the pool, or went to public beaches on the Gulf side.
We also had our son with us, he was only 11 months at the time.

Mine next 'vacation' may be relocating back to CA from VA lol.

Wife and daughter will fly home and I plan on driving our car. Looking forward for that.

Regular processing is $110 and takes 4-6weeks
But I think you can expedite that and get it in 2 weeks for around $75 more.

I am renewing mine tomorrow, and my friend did his last month and said the turn around for renewal is only about 2 weeks right now.

How much and how long does it take to get a passport.

Just came back from DR... beautiful beaches, great food. Definitely planning a trip back in the coming months. We did the Soana island excursion and the buggies to macao beach, even ventured off the resort a few nights for some "real" food. The beach vendors are wild pushy  but that "no interesado" helps.

Also, just picked up 2 buddy passes for AA. No idea on where to go but the wife and I were thinking of doing London and Morrocco this December but open to suggestions.
