    Agreed. I go up to 5 reps max, after that I just lose focus. Going to cop the JayBird X3 when they drop.

    In my opinion i don't feel it is necessary to even seperate them as with straps and without straps. Nobody uses with chalk and without chalk #s. With the deadlift it is a given that once you get to a certain point your grip won't be strong enough. I look at it as some use chalk, others use...

    Congrats, I am looking for that 5+ plate deadlift myself. I don't understand the disdain for straps. It's not like your quarter squatting the weight. The rest of your body has to be strong enough to lift the weight up.

    Go atleast half a size down they run large. ( I needed a full size down) Their great for warm ups and other training and running drills. I didn't like them for deadlifts or squats. I felt they were a bit too squishy.

    The article, was talking more about strength/performance then hypertrophy. You would drop the bar after each rep. It lowers your TUT, so you can do the deadlift/ Olympic lifts more often. For hypertrophy I wouldn't drop the weight.

    MP Combat bars are good. I like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Cinnamon Twist. The Oh Yeah bars have a chalky after taste.IMO Tell me what's up then?
