Yo sorry Paul I had to do something lol but Im back anyways the problem I have is that once I try and upload it ..it doesnt upload..like it just goes to myalbum with out the avy..

No you're not out of luck. You can use Photoshop or Adobe Flash to make avys. hater boxden usesPhotoshop and illmaticsoulchild uses Flash to make their avys and both have Macs.

Oh ok. I think I know what you're talking about. A couple NTers PMed me about this happening to them. It turned out they just waited a whileand then tried to upload it again, then it worked. How's it now? Did you try to upload it again? Did it work?

Well i actually have PS so thats good but that Video DL site doesn't work for me, it just downloads as some kind of windows doc i can't open. I'msure i can find a program to convert *!$+ to .avi but how do i get around the Vidoe DL problem?

I haven't tried it yet but I never used to have to use paint before, it was all done in ulead.... I think I found out how to initially do itin one of those older tutorials in the archives... but I haven't been able to find it though. And widescreen more to the effect of JPTHE3's previousone. post that up if you can.

Just change the height to something like 50 or maybe even 45 if you want it to be that "wide". It's really up to you.

Why is this board so damn weird?! some avys that I've made lately will be 90K on my computer then uploaded to the board will jump to 180K, then another onewill be like 130K on my computer but when uploaded will remain the same? What type of peanut butter and jelly #+$* is this for real? BTW that's dope Paul

Photoshop does a better job at optimizing the avy while not taking that much away from the quality of the avy. Make the avy in Ulead and optimizeit in Photoshop.

About 4 seconds for the avy clip.

I thought that was apart of the regular video... didn't know you combined two parts... I'm definitely gonna need to know how to do that...And do you know how to open up .gif files in PS? To open up .gif files in PS... first you have to save them as .mov files in Ulead.Originally Posted by rwfanatic

File > Import > Video Frame to Layers > Select the .mov file > Load > Ok.
Then to optimize it in PS...
File > Save for Web & Devices
This window should pop up.
I usually only adjust the "Colors" option. The file size is located at the bottom left. Then save it when optimized.

Different copy of Ulead? Try to get a different copy of Ulead so when you optimize it, it won't freeze. Also, an alternative program tooptimize an avy is PS. Look at the instructions in the post above.Originally Posted by Fantastic4our
