Nike Employee's

i would love to work at a nike outlet but we dont have any around here.... i work at a mom and pop store though, i get everything half off with no exclusions... its nice to say the least!

I do have a question, I just got the job at my Local Nike Retails store. My orientation is on Wednesday. I was wondering if that is when i get my free clothing items? Does anyone know?

No such thing as a free lunch bro, you will get deducted on a check for the tax on it @ 50% off the selling price. Not a considerable amount but not free.

So I just hit up the employee store in NH this past weekend to pick up a pair of the breds. So they don't allow military anymore? I went and there was no one in line, just us employees. Usually there are about 40 to 50 people at every release, and there was only about 10 this time. Anyways

just got hired at Nike Mall of America and I have rookie class this sunday. just out of curiosity, how does staff dress work for a Nike retail store, what all do you get? I've previously worked at and outlet and got the 2 shirts, 2 bottoms and under $80 shoes, but I'd assume it's different. thanks in advanced.

sorry to bump an old thread btw.
First time poster here; but in reply to your post, during rookie class, all of us(rookies) dressed "Comfortably". Some days we wore jeans and shirt, other days we wore nike clothing(Shorts,Running pants,Dri fit shirts). That was during rookie camp. After that, our staff dress were(for men & women)two shirt/Two bottoms/One Jacket/One pair of shoes. But we still could wear pretty much any Nike shoes we want other than the ones we were provided.

Just got the phone call saying I got the job :smokin

Congrats bro!! I'm a Nike employee too I work at an nike in house manufacturing where we make the air bags(ie the 360's, zoom air, 180's etc) for the shoes, I love it plus I'm a sneaker head so it's a gift and a curse cuz i get the discounts from swoosh r the employee stores but I stay broke buying almost every shoe lol

Just started at an outlet a few weeks ago. Do employees get the 30% discount at any outlet? Or just the one you work at?

Thanks! Also, does anyone know how the Hurley, Converse, etc. discount works for Nike employees? Is it instore, online, both? And if online, how do you set it up?

I think with Hurley you have to set it up IN store once, then you're good. Hurley is 40% but they do 50% promos like once a month.

2 quick questions:

1) This might be a stupid question, but can you get the employee discount of phone orders?

2) Im traveling to Oregon for my girlfriends cousins wedding this summer and was hoping to stop by the employee store. Is there a certain process I have to go through or can I just show up? Also, is there a restriction with me bringing my girlfriend, her parents, and her bro?

I know these are probably questions I should ask my managers, but I just thought of them and Im not working again till Monday...

Any help appreciated. Thanks

1. You aren't supposed to be able to do discount over phone orders, but I've heard it happen. Some head coaches get angry about it.

2. You'll need to get a pass I BELIEVE. Not sure though. I think that's what the guest passes are on ESVP screen.

1 No
2 If you're an employee just give them your employee number with your ID.
And if your family isn't on the list I don't believe they can get in without a pass set up like the day before
