THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

When the offense was putting up points, the defense was blowing leads.
When the defense holds the opposing offense to 13pts, the special teams and offense give up 14pts or the offense only scores 12pts.

I feel like the offensive play calling hasn't been creative enough during this losing streak.
Nothing being done to make the opposing defense have to second guess themselves or at least make a wrong move or take a bad step or anything.
And why is it so hard for us to work playmakers into our offense?
We should be using Lucky Whitehead the same way KC is using DeAnthony Thomas.
Get him the ball in space and let that boy do work.

Seems like an on going narrative for most seasons.. most teams bring their A game for us and it seems we can never make the necessary plays no matter what our starting line up looks like. I see teams with a lot less talent than us put up more points and their defense generate more big plays. I just don't understand. We are just not that good I suppose...

Maaaaan, we're so conversations at times...

After Hardys int that was a HORRIBLE sequence of play calling to start a series in the red zone...

Waaaaaay to obvious when we're gonna run, and when we're passing.

I say it every week, but I didn't expect things to be this bad without romo.

I swear all these close Ls hurt more than the patriots loss...

Our division is so ****** or I would just call it in for the year and get a stud top 10 pick

Fam I keep saying it every week too

IDK if that's a good thing or a bad thing?

It's bad obviously cause we keep losing. The silver lining is were somehow still in it and a win will put us right in the thick of things.

If we can score 17-20 points against Philly, I'm confident our defense will hold them to 13 or less.
Bradford can't escape the pocket like Ciara can, and the Kraken should feast on him all day.

With Issues On & Off Field, RB Joseph Randle Officially Released By Cowboys

IRVING, Texas -  This was supposed to be a breakout season for Joseph Randle, who entered the year as the starting running back.
As it turned out, he didn’t even make it to the halfway point on the roster.
The Cowboys have officially waived Randle on Tuesday, ending his three-year saga that included a variety of off-the-field issues, some of which have still have him facing potential suspensions and/or fines from the NFL.

But the Cowboys decided to cut ties with him Tuesday, trimming the running back position down to three tailbacks again – Darren McFadden, Christine Michael and Rod Smith.

Tuesday morning, owner/GM Jerry Jones said on his weekly radio show on 105.3 The Fan, that Randle wouldn’t play this week against the Eagles and wouldn’t speculate when asked about his status for the rest of the year. Randle missed last week’s game against Seattle, both for personal reasons but also dealing with an oblique injury he suffered against the Giants on Oct. 25.

Randle started that game, had two carries for 24 yards, before leaving with the injury. This season, Randle has 76 carries for 315 yards and a team-high four touchdowns.
But even his on-field product included some issues, including a game in New Orleans when he went against coaching orders and jumped over the pile to reach the end zone. While he managed to break the goal line and score, he fumbled the ball when hit by defenders. Despite the “six points” as he answered in a post-game press conference, Randle was benched for most of the second half against the Saints.
His off-the-field issues have certainly been more troubling and don’t appear to be completely behind him.

Randle could be facing a suspension by the NFL, who has investigated some of his incidents over the last 12 months. In February, Randle was arrested for possession of marijuana after police responded to a domestic violence call at a Wichita hotel. The police report also stated that Randle broke a car window and threatened the mother of his son with a gun. The charges were dropped in April, but the league’s investigation determined a violation of the personal conduct policy.
Randle first appeared in the news last October, when he was arrested at a Frisco, Texas, shopping mall for attempting to shoplift underwear and a tester bottle of cologne. That incident was compounded later when video footage surfaced of Randle making disparaging comments about teammates during his time in Frisco City Jail.

And his comments in front of cameras also generated headlines. This summer he told reporters that DeMarco Murray had left “meat on the bone” despite his record-setting season in 2014, hinting that he expected to not only carry the load this year, but possibly even improve the running game.
As it turned out, Randle never had a 100-yard game. He lost his starting spot, and now his roster spot as well.

Bunch of fake outrage by people that don't care but it's the Cowboys so they'll pretend their so concerned and upset with the actions. I have a hard time completely siding with her being that she was drugged up and Hardy was the one who called the police. You can tell in that thread who's dealt with psychotic females to a degree they never knew existed and who hasn't.

I think Greg is an idiot and definitely could have been smarter during the situation but I don't think it's as black and white as these clowns who are pretending to care are making it out to be.

The lesson we can all learn from the Hardy situation is that it's best to just walk away and completely remove yourself from the situation.

Not sure why we weren't bringing pressure on that last philly drive.
Bradford's just standing there.
Put some pressure in his face to force a bad throw which could lead to an interception.

Naw not all these games have been on the defense. The 2 games before tonight the defense only gave 13 points each. I will agree that it was terrible tonight, everyone got whopped. We got gashed flat out.

Good to see Dez back

Another loss tho :smh:
