I'm curious. Does anyone have an instance of someone actually "luring someone in" or deceiving a man into thinking that they were born a woman?? I'm talking first hand encounter or from your best friend or something, no 6th degree of separation anecdotal evidence. Both of the Transgendered women posted in this thread openly admit they used to be men, I googled amiyah scott and she said in an interview when guys hit on her in a club she tells them to google her if they have never heard of her before she will even give them the time of day. I

Nope never, and when I have encountered a transgender out in the street in NYC it was easy to tell something was off. Pictures are different because you can make it seem however you like but in person you just know. So I don't understand why people are saying "nah I don't like this men turning into women thing because they're tricking people", fam if they trick you then you have never been inside of a real vagina straight up.

Transgenders weren't originally apart of it. It was the LGB community up until the early 2k years. You are stuck in the mindset that it is still the gay community. Which it is not. It is now the sexuality and gender-identity community. It has changed past the schema you created. Though being gay is similar to being transgender, seeing they are both simply a lifestyle.
Which brings me to your last sentence, "just be yourself and deal with life."
That is exactly what the LGBT community is dong. Being themselves. Whether that be them being gay, or changing their sex. It's their choice, it's their life. If you interview the average transgender individual, they would most likely tell you that it feels like they were born in the wrong body. That they cannot be themselves because their body is holding them back.
Nobody is making you guys respect it. I definitely don't care if you respect the next human being. Who are you to me?
Though I am a bit rustled that people who don't respect it have now made it so we need a second civil war for LGBT rights.

I think there should be some mandatory therapy and/or counseling before they get the surgery. I believe a lot of wanting to change gender has to do with people not being able to accept who they are. They don't like being considered "gay", so they try to "fix" it with changes genders.
