I hate getting a new phone. Vol. Verizon

No lie though, you should at least be attempting to learn/speak the language if you come here.

For what reason? Last time I checked there's no official language for the US.
English is the official language because we were really put together by England . All public advertisement in mainstream are in English and its the one taught in schools? Everything else goes under the foreign language banner at schools. If you live in a country you should be attempting to speak the countries language

Just to play devil's advocate (cause I've heard this before), it's cause when Americans go over to non-English speaking countries, the red carpet isn't rolled out for them, including signs of both the native countries' language and English. Why it personally doesn't matter to me is cause the US prides itself being more accepting and "above" things like that.

I guess

Still got my unlimited data too. Use about 40 gbs a month  Just opened up a dummy line so I could get an S5 and so I could use it for future upgrades. They're going to have to force unlimited data away from me.
:nerd: I haven't upgraded because I don't want to change my unlimited data

Opened up a new line w/ 2gb a data per month for $30 a month and brought a new phone on that line. Got the phone, activated it on the new line, took out the new sim card, and put the sim card w/ unlimited data in the new phone

New phone, still get keep my unlimited data, still only had to pay 200 bucks for a phone :smokin

You basically end up paying $60 a month for unlimited data but it's well worth it imo, especially considering you can upgrade every year with this method (once the line with unlimited data is due for an upgrade just transfer the upgrade to the dummy line) and not have to worry about losing your unlimited data.

I work for a Verizon indirect retailer and in short, it's his job to make your phone "more enjoyable". For every 20 customers that are adamant about getting only a phone, there's one that will leave with a case, headphones, case for the headphones, bluetooth speaker, insurance on everything including the damn plastic bag and the sales rep with a slightly inappropriate, yet justified hard-on. They're sharks and yours wye bait.

If you have verizon, add isis wallet app and you'll receive a $25 gift card that can be used at McDonald's, foot locker, American Eagle and other spots. If you add it, inbox me so that I can ring you up in our system. It's free to you and I get $10 commission. #NThustle

I'll do this when u pick up my phone on Monday.

Adding $30 for a another line to your bill shoulds like too much. Unless you got kids. Might aswell switch carriers if you need it that bad

You made the laws up or something? Like I said English isn't the official language of the United States so I'm not sure why someone is expected to speak English

If you immigrate to a country you should learn the language. Otherwise everyday will be just be hard outside of areas with a big immigrant population from your native country

Could've saved yourself the extra 30 a month and just upgraded your current phone.

They let you grandfather in your plans.

I just searched three countries off the top of my head and they all had official languages listed.

Reading is fundamental. The picture says NATIONAL LANGUAGE is English
What's your point? I guess if I come from another country I have to celebrate the US "national" holidays too? There is NO OFFICIAL LANGUAGE. In case you don't know what that means, it is not required to speak English to live nor survive in this country. The fact that you're defending the ignorance is hilarious  :smh:

I searched Russia and I said national too but Korea didn't, hurts my argument, my bad but my point stands. Your textbooks, mainstream tv shows, default language on electronical devices, Presidential speaks and more are in English.

You don't have to celebrate anything. No your not required to speak English in America but it just makes life hard as you need a translator, special forms and more just to get through the day. You wouldn't even be able to work most jobs either. Learning the language 99% of people in a country you live speak isnt ignorant its seems like Common sense

It would just make more sense to learn the widely spoken language in whatever country you decide to move to. Like if I moved to Latin America, hell yeah I would learn Spanish, same goes for Europe, Asia, Africa, etc. it just makes life easier. But, no, you're not obligated to learn a native language.
