Tyrant new show from FX Tuesdays 10pm

Liked this ep more cuz of the lack of children. I feel this show needs better writing to really delve in to the important characters revolving around Bassam and the plot itself. Feels it's going at a snails pace. I know in real life the change being emptied would be taking a lot longer as mentioned in the show about facing reality but this tv entertainment I want to see **** progress. Not even so much to where Bassam takes over or begins to really get a kick out of what he's doing or to even see him heel turn but just to get in some better action and dialogue about these topics.

This white chick thinks she can come to a country she's never been to and fix everything. Bassam out here doing what he gotta do to keep the country together and she all on my mans back.

Theory: The show is actually about Jamal becoming the Tyrant.

This episode was so much better, no zesty kid, no contrived daughter. Keep it this way.

Not gonna lie, when the EMT asked Molly who she was and she responded with, "Dr. Molly Al-Fayeed," I thought that was :nthat:
 
Last night episodes was legit, I def see Jamal becoming the full force Heel that he is, and mess up this peace talk, right now he is like a wwe wrestler that is a heel, but showing signs of maybe becoming face, but will ultimately return to being heel....LOL all my wrestling fans will understand where I am coming from.

Was telling my wife the same thing. It's missing that big wow moment/scene that all FX dramas have had. Bassam staying wasn't really it. Jamal smashing his head was a good start though.

I liked this ep.

Jamal showing he won't be Barry's puppet and pulling a wildcard move in that fashion was something other shows wouldn't actually do, it'd be a daydream fantasy and then the character snaps back to reality. The whole time I was like how is he not suspected if the Sheikh's ppl are right outside or what about cameras? I see they just skip that and go for he's still kinda alive. I don't know why Jamal thinks he's some trained killer with that move :lol: Like that bruise and knock behind the head won't show up in an autopsy.

The whole ep when Jamal went the election course I was thinking the assassination of the Sheikh or his son wouldn't solve things much just make it worse.

I'm still over here thinking what it's gonna take for Basam not just to take over but to turn heel himself and be put in a sort of Walter White situation where he had to do it.

The Sheikh though :rofl: Son was wild disrespectful. Old dudes stay thinking they can get away with the flagrant offenses.
 
Rape and murder aside, Jamal is too funny :lol: Love that dude's acting. I enjoy this show despite its faults, especially since they've cut down on the annoying wife/kid @#$@. Haven't even seen the kids in weeks :lol:

I think it's gonna be something big like one of his kids dying with Ihab being the cause for Bassam to do a 180 from this pacifist to tyrant. Don't think they'd kill his wife when they can keep her around to be the voice of reason after that happens. Or even better, if she supports him :lol:

Yeah, right now I'm expecting the gay son to be killed for being gay.

I just hope it isn't done by Jamal's son cuz then Barry gonna have to go full Bassam and murk family on the way to being a Tyrant. I want Jamal to still be around in some way when he takes over.

On another note, I expect the uncle/military general to die in a most gruesome way. I was thinking Barry might looking in to what the Sheikh said about never attacking the army which caused the gas attack and either finding out or pinning the set up on his uncle (since he's seems so eager to kill ppl).
