Saw these a while ago. Meh, it's too close to the Penny V, which makes you think they recycle designs and get lazy. Why revive the line now? He's done. Just give us a quality retro and we'll be happy

I could see the potential there but these are just too overdone. Trying to fit too much with the fly wire, rope laces, lace lock, that chrome side piece right next to the jewel swoosh. I would so much rather see a really good retro of the Pippen 2 and Pippen 3

This. Nike is trying to go "See!, we put all the bells and whistles on the shoe for you! Now give us $200+ because we gave it our latest tech."
In all honesty, we wouldn't even know if Pippen the player would even like these. Players usually get fitted for the mold first and test it. It is a bit of a busy shoe, not Pippen-like typically. That lace lock sticks out like a sore thumb too. I know it's a lace lock, but that is a distinct part of another line.
