What car/truck to go with?

What do you guys think About WRX STI's?  I was thinking about checking out one of those too.

I say test drive the STI. Really fun car and it's super easy to modify it and change the car completely. Subarus are super reliable as well, as long as they aren't modded ******ed..

You will definitely have the most fun driving the sti than most cars as well.

I recently moved to West Texas and it is most def Truck Country!!!! Every one has one.... I really want a Chevy Avalanche but my first vehicle i ever owned was a 93 Dodge Ram and I love it... my current car is going thru a maintenance issue thing and im getting sick and tired of putting $300-$400 a month in services and repairs for the last 3 months.... I ready to trade it in and get my truck but dont really know which route to go.. Any suggestions???? Im partial to Dodge, Ford, and Toyota....

I'm also thinking about getting a wrx. Some days I'm into the look and other days I'm on the fence. That AWD tho :smokin

From a truck person's perspective, they're just huge and look horrible. Sure they have power but that sacrifices gas mileage and stuff like that. They just don't have the reliability that Toyota trucks have.

Tacomas give you a good balance of power and ability to customize while still maintaining a good gas mileage and they last forever. Have a great resell value if you ever pay it off and wanna resell.

Pretty sure the tundra is one of the worst full size trucks when it comes to gas mileage and it's definitely worse than a ram 1500. You can't really compare a tacomas fuel economy to a full size truck so I won't really talk about that. You're spot on with resale value though. I was looking at used tundras the other day and they want a grip for them. I like Rams and tundras and I think you're being just a tad bit biased with the ram hate. He could get a ram with the extended mopar warranty for however long he plans on keeping the truck and it would still be cheaper than buying a tundra with the same options. If he doesn't care about electronic options he could be out the door in a brand new ram with a hemi, dual exhaust, and stock 20 inch wheels for around 20-22k and can option up however high he wants to take it. Honestly, I don't think there's realy a bad option as far as pickups. It's just all about personal preference and what you need it for/how much you want to pay.

The streets are ****** here in Midland/Odessa area... My Marquis is too low to the ground and i just spent 3 bills on new tires and they wont last 3 years with this ****** roads... So I gotta make sure the truck sits up a lil high and I can get more rugged tires... I found a Avalanche in Dallas that I like but my girl is trippin even though she just got a new car a few months ago.... Im stressing over this car issue but my girl is spazzing and not being supportive at all.... Ugh :smh:

whats the problem with rams?

Tundras are Toyota's power truck. Things are straight beasts from the starting line.

Or even the new 4Runners look straight evil and I was in a 2014 model the other day goin down some trails and the amount of features on those things are sick.

2015s

Throw a TRD package on either of those models, they'll outshine a Ram any day of the year IMO. Then again, I'm a Toyota / Chevy guy.

Ford or Dodge aren't my fancy.

The only Dodge Ram that I would recommend is the Diesel. Because, well.. Diesel.

Don't listen to this fool OP. Only reasonable thing he said was the Diesel Dodge, Because as he said, well... Diesel.

You need a real man's truck, get you a Chevy Silveraydo. That Crew Cab with Z71 with the 4 wheel drive and a 5.3L engine, or even better the LTZ Z71 with the 6.2L engine :pimp:

Nothing better than a Chevy :pimp: although the 2010 and newer F150's are also nice.

But seriously OP, don't get yourself a Toyota. It's a Toyota for Christ's sake!

I drive a 2005 F-150, runs great and love it

but I love my cousins 2012 Tundra....If i would ever trade my f-150, I'd def go with a tundra!

Family members have owned chevys and rams, and wouldn't recommend them
