How are some of you Texans doing?

Ya'll freaking out? especially those of you guys in Dallas?
Cowboys 3-1 and just monster trucked the Faints.
Ebola ain't even on our minds.

The family was under court order to not leave their apartment.
Their apartment and car was haz-mat cleaned today.
They were moved to an undisclosed location today.
Some people who live in the same apartments, not related to the family just live in the same apartment complex, weren't allowed to go to work by their employers.
City council had to send legal aide to help the people get allowed back to work.

You're not concerned that Mr Duncan was confirmed to have Ebola on the 30th, his vomit outside of the apartment wasn't cleaned until October 2nd and the apartment wasn't decontaminated until October 3rd?

Yeah the family was on lockdown but......

All this was going on

That didn't happen until October 2nd, that means bloody vomit was on the sidewalk for 3 days. I know Ebola is not very contagious, but let's speak hypothetically..........

This is Dallas Texas, home of fine swine and bovine!! Let's say a bird came by and started eating some of that bloody vomit, yummy in the birds tummy so so good. Now nothing is going to happen to this bird because animals are immune to ebola! Let's say it shares food with another bird and another and soon all of these bird have the virus. One of these birds is flying over a ranch near Dallas and they drop some partially eaten food into a pig pin and the pigs eat it. These pigs are humping around and they spread ebola to other pigs.

Soon people are going to be eating ebola infected meat in the US and then it's going to evolves and oh man Texas messed up.

If they produce a vaccine, I am not taking it, that's all I know. The way I see it is, if everybody else is vaccinated, then I will never catch it regardless ...

But in all seriousness, I don't believe that these diseases/illnesses are man made ... But I do think that at times, they hype the scare, in order to make a vaccine that will be in high demand. I also think they put something more deadly in the vaccine, then the illness itself, but that is just the conspiracist in me ...

If the government wanted to kill people, there are far more efficient ways to accomplish that than friggin' Ebola lol.

replace bird with bat and you have Contagion smart guy ;-)

Duncan's family is now showing signs of flu like symptoms.

www.dailymail.co.uk...

Really shoddy journalism. The writer literally just made up her own diagnosis in the field.

While it is unlikely to be related to the Ebola virus, they did not look as healthy as they did when MailOnline visited on Thursday.

Oh, they don't look as healthy? Care to quote a CDC official on that? No? Right, because you want page views.

All this stuff is confusing, flu like symptoms show in any kind of virus , down to STD, wtf like how do you know which is which.

Like is anything that is flu like from now on is Ebola or a common cold? This **** all stupid and don't make sense

Read what I quoted from that article. The author just made an assumption on their condition. This is how misinformation gets spread. People read that and they just think "oh, they're deteriorating". No, they're not (that we know of). There's no source provided that supports that claim.

Also, the family that's quarantined is basically living in squalor (again, according to the DM article). Under those conditions, god knows how you might look after a couple days of being stuck in there.

jumpman247 jumpman247 no I'm not really worried.
The issue seems to be contained.
We are going to the state fair in a couple of weeks.
We'll do what we always do.
Taking plenty of hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes.

I read some **** on Twitter that was like

"Ebola been in the US for a few days and people getting scared but AIDS been around for 30 years and ****** still going raw."

All of this is probably getting to them mentally. Any HINT of them going ill is going to be magnified 10x ovet.

I love believing things for no reason!!

Was watching CNN the other day and found out the cure is found in Tobacco plant.

The pharmaceutical companies could have stopped the spread of this disease in West Africa but there isn't enough of a profit to be made. :smh:

Source?

I just can't see why they would invest a large sum of money into research for a cure and decide not to proceed with production. Ebola wasn't infecting a whole lot of people before this year.
