my uncle went to a Yanks-Sox game in Fenway a while back & saw Posada and Jeter in PF Changs. He said Jeter was happy to take a picture & Posada was being a douche about it; Jeter eventually convinced him to take the picture

Not taking anything away from Andy, Bernie, or Jorge cause growing up in the 90s the Yankees ruled things and they crushed my Phillies in 09. But if the Yankees were favored to win the AL East and WS this year would this even be happening? Feels like the same crap the Sixers did with Iverson last year and Mo'ne Davis this year. They brought back Iverson a few times to retire his number, appreciation night, etc just because it would get attention and sell tickets.

Was never a A-Rod fan but this story has me rooting for him this season.

My guy Alex mad close to 3000 hits and 2000 RBIs. Only two players have 2000 RBIs. I need to see him get to those two milestones.

If there is anything to take from A-Rod this past year/season it's that he didn't really ***** or make waves. He took the heat and kept it moving until he could return.

That ESPN article changed my view a bit on the situation.
