Wayne isn't lyrically the same as C2 but the nerve of dudes who are constantly banging Thug, Migos, (whatever new trap rapper takes over next) and acting like it's on another echelon from what wayne is doing is CRAZY.
I listen to both but how can you call one trash, and be amazed by the other. I have seen people call thug's verse on all about the money VOTY... if wayne spit the EXACT same verse dudes would call it trash. It just is what it is & it extends to more than just music, dudes refuse to think for themselves, when the "tastemakers" say wayne ain't hot wayne ain't hot no more to some of these people.

I disagree. Wayne fell off right before the carter 3 dropped. I didn't like C3. That was at his critical and commercial peak. Dude is just wack now. He's been sorry since 08 w/ the exceptions of no ceilings and a verse here and there.
Migos flow is crazy and they are creative as hell. Same with Thugga etc. Those dudes put GREAT production with great creativity and actually bars. Nothing like what Wayne does. Wayne is still either punch line rapping, or trying to rap like these guys now. Huge difference there.

Thug jacked Wayne's style and got more creative, weird and melodic with it. Made it his OWN sound. That plus production and his antics is why he's winning now. Dude is talented. If you can't recognize the migos have an amazing flow, and some of them can spit. Then idk what to tell you.

The crazy part about this and people loving thug for being "Creative, melodic, Weird" is that when Weezy did it after years of straight bars... it's initially when people started calling him washed. You also pointed to Thugga "antics" having him winning as if Wayne wishes he could be "winning" like Thug.. what does that even mean when you are arguably the biggest rapper in the world.
this is Thug whole style NOW... Wayne did this in 2008 yet he made it more creative
The migos do have a nice flow, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE are they better at flows then Wayne who has created & popularized an unlimited amount of flows for the rap game to eat off.

Thug does not have bars! Half the time you got to look up his lyrics to even know what he is saying. Wayne will murder this dude. When you got every rapper praising wayne and his flow how can you say he garbage. Even pusha wanted him on good music. He may have been joking but its some truth behind every joke and he know wayne flow ill or else he wouldnt have said it.

Its funny cuz you can definitely tell Wayne was a huge influence on Thug.... but now that Thug has found his lane it sounds like Wayne is tryna be like Thug now... Thug is definitely better than Wayne right now.. that dude can make some songs.
