Anyone own a Slingbox? (for tv, iphone, etc)

Does anyone here have a slingbox, either the solo or the HD version?

The reason I ask is because I am trying to watch Portland Trail Blazers games while I am away from the home (i get a special blazers channel at home) so I cansling it from my home tv to other locations. That way I could watch my team through the internet and even my iphone.


For those of you that own one, how is the quality of the video when you are watching from outside the home? I heard the quality if great when you are on thesame network as where your slingbox is located, but when you start watching from far away, it gets worse...but how worse is it?

no but i want one of these things...but i wonder how much battery it will kill over a wifi connection on my iphone, i use the radio app n it kills my batterywithin 2 hours
