From briefly meeting the dude years ago and from what I've heard about him, Bow Wow is a pretty cocky, if not anal retentive dude.  Rightfully so, given his inexplicable talent for remaining relevant, but sometimes you just need to shut the hell up.  I'm sure this was one of those moments.
