Youk, Buchholz (2010 CY Young) And Martinez will be back after the Break, so it isn't Beltre with Double A Players.
Pedroia will be back around August And Ellsbury is coming back within this week.

tampa bay is after lee so the yanks are tryin not to let that happen.......and hughes has a innings limit like the joba rules so he wil come off the bullpen for most of the second half

montero has fallen off withe the organization because of his attitude and lack of hussle

IMO getting Lee is just overkill at this point. The team is fine as it is just need some bench help and a another reliable bullpen arm.
 
This is unnecessary.

Our top rated prospect and others for a guy who is most likely coming here after the season anyway. Don't get me wrong...any team would love to have a pitcher like Lee and we're immediately better after picking him up. But do we NEED to do this? Our pitching staff is more than fine...why give up a big part of our future for?

Makes even less sense considering Montero is a catcher and it's only a matter of time before Posada needs to DH full time.

EDIT: There's no chance in hell Hughes is getting moved to the bullpen. Don't throw out speculation as fact.
