I've gotten so many good deals. I've bought and sold a car, bought a bike, shipped stuff to out of state buyers, etc. Craigslist is the $%*!.

i've come across some pretty good steals in the past couple years
i bought dual monitors from some guy who worked at Google in Mountian View for $70 for both. They were kinda malfunctioning but still under warranty, so I just sent them in to Samsung and they gave me two new ones.
i also bought a 37 inch vizio lcd from some software engineer who was moving to China. Got it for a cool $150.
Overall, you really have to get lucky and have to have perfect timing. if you get lucky you mind find one of the techy dudes who upgrade their electronics like every few months.

Be smart and keep your eyes open for any red flags.... i caught this one before i met up with him.... Dude tried to play me saying he would trade me a Ipod Touch for my bmx. Then dudes like im sending you an email from the ipod but all his emails say Via Sidekick. LMAO

not a lot of scamming done if you're doing the buying, just make sure you know if replicas are a common thing for the item you want so you can make sure.
if you're selling, beware of people who want to overpay with a money order or check and have you give them back the difference.

Oh yeah and speaking of steals,I came across my MPC 2000 (w/8 outs) in damn near perfect condition for $400.That was about 2 years ago.
