Damn i swore his mom was white, guess I was mistaken. I remember seeing a segment on Russell and I could of sworn they showed a white as his mother.

Do you think the media would hate on Brady if he wore a dolphin snap back
Weren't you the same guy complaining about people using "if"
I would be livid if my QB, white or black was wearing a different NFL team. Kaep was stupid for that. Brady wouldn't do that because he knows better.

boston media did when he wore a yankee fitted...so yeah
He likes winners, he's not an idiot.
Better throw on a Red Sox hat then. That's ironic. He likes winners, he's not an idiot.

Tebow has been criticized for being a cornballSomeone also brought up a good point in the NFL thread...what if Cam/Kap had the same reaction to a loss like Andy Dalton? Can you imagine the media firestorm?
Stayblessed - QB's like Romo, Brady, Tebow, etc. are mostly criticized for things football related. Get back to me when someone gets on them about having a disingenuous smile, too many tattoos, to stupid to remember a playbook, being too hood, or just being a cornball. All of which has been covered or beaten to death by the media. It's only a matter of time before Teddy Bridgewater is torn down for something trivial.

nah. If Cam got in a refs face like Brady does. Flags would fly. Fines would be coming in. ESPN would call him a thug

I had no idea about Wilson's Christain beliefs.
And Cam's criticism has gone down exponentially. Except on NY.
? You're Tom Brady? Cool.No thanks, it's cold out. I'll just wear my jacket.
Because Dalton sucks and everyone knows it. All you hear is about how Cam and Kaep are supposed to be the next big things so naturally, people want to knock them from that pedestal. Has nothing to do with race in my opinion. If Dalton was looked at as being a future elite then they would've thrown a **** storm just as well.
I actually think race has a lot to do with it. I mean, Dalton was pretty much ho-hum after that loss. Deflecting blame. Continuing w/ Dalton, are there any articles questioning his character b/c he's a ginger? Trivial, right? Same as the smile example and also w/ the tats. Has NOTHING to do with playing quarterback. I just think there is an extreme double-standard for black QBs and they truly face an uphill battle to 1) not be stereotyped and 2) have their character assassinated from what to me, is nothing more than nit-picking due to the color of their skin.
Yea its a shame too for qb's like Tebow who had their character assassinated because he said he is a Christian and virgin had nothing to do with football. Does that count though because he's not black ?

When Rush Limbaugh went out and said McNabb was overrated because he was black (one of the dumbest things I've ever heard, because McNabb was if anything underrated and over-criticized at the time), he spoke from the kind of perspective that a lot of people in this country see with. And that is the mentality that if a QB is black, that kid does not deserve a pass for any action- you have the right to tear apart every little thing he does to find a flaw you can pull out and tear him apart with.
